What we do

Bao Legal is an all-in-one legal work platform for law firms, corporate legal teams and ordinary people. It brings seven things — contracts, e-signing, evidence, transactions, collaboration, organization and AI — into one system, freeing professional judgment from mechanical labor.

We don't want to be "yet another legal SaaS". We want to do one thing: let a law firm, a legal team or an ordinary person get their share of legal work done through a single entry point. That's why the brand is called "Bao Legal" — "Bao" means "the whole package" in Chinese.

How we think

One premise

The warmth of the law comes from people; its certainty comes from systems. We take each of these as far as it can go, separately — the warmth is for lawyers and users, the cold precision is for the platform.

Three ground rules

• No exaggeration, no sentimentality, no exclamation marks. Professional restraint is our baseline; warmth comes from wording and rhythm, not punctuation.
• The AI's limits are spelled out. The platform handles the mechanical, rule-based, verifiable parts; judgment, negotiation and court appearances are left to lawyers and their clients. The product is infrastructure, not a replacement.
• Every promise lands in the product. Behind every slogan is a verifiable mechanism that maps to a live module. We don't oversell the product, and we don't let users down.

Where we are

Bao Legal is officially live — businesses and law firms can sign up and open a workspace right away; the version for individuals is in preparation, and we'll notify the waitlist when it opens.

We're in no hurry to make a pretty "coverage list". First, get one thing right — polish the minimum viable version that lawyers actually use, companies can confidently roll out, and ordinary people can genuinely understand.

Data compliance

All user data is encrypted and stored in mainland China, with strict multi-tenant isolation. We never use customer data to train any public model, and never share it with other tenants. Our AI runs on compliant domestic Chinese models (Alibaba's Qwen series).
